Melissa has been the director of the Center since July 2009. Before she arrived in New Hope, Melissa was a lead preschool teacher and co-director at Roots to Wings Learning Center in St. Johns, Lake City from 2006-2009. She also has several years of experience working as an aide at an early childhood center in Muskego, WI and as a preschool Sunday school instructor. Melissa graduated from Martin Luther College with her Bachelor’s in Education. She enjoys spending time with her two children, Carter and Morgan. Melissa loves the trust and comfort levels the children build with the staff. She also loves watching them grow from little infants to big preschoolers! It’s neat to see them transition throughout the entire Center!
